We’ve launched a new payment experience and food budgeting tool for the Swedish food retail company Hemköp, enabling customers to earn 25% more membership points when shopping at the Hemköp store and online. Since the card is a debit Mastercard, it works anywhere in the world.

We raised 45MSEK in capital with Axel Johnson as majority shareholder that enabled us to release our first payment proposition, the first debit Mastercard in Sweden with a loyalty model and proposition that rewarded customers for paying with their own money.

Since Humla as a company previously identified itself with its first product 'Humlakortet', the company needed a new way forward after Axfood AB acquired us and Humlakortet was sunset. Previous target groups and brand strategies are no longer relevant and we needed to do some work to understand who the new Humla is and how we want to be seen and heard in the future.
